Pentax Optio WS80 10MP Waterproof Digital Camera is on sale at Amazon for $149.99.

This small camera has a lot to offer you in performance and image quality. Its waterproof up to five feet perfect for your vacation snookling pictures or to catch a picture of your kids in your backyard pool. The Pentax Optio WS80 also has a highly water-repellent SP(Super Protect) coating on the protective glass panel that covers the zoom lens. It features a large 2.7inch LCD monitor for effortless image viewing.

The Pentax Optio WS80 combines 10.0 effective megapixels with the Pentax-developed imaging engine and high-performance Pentax zoom lens, makes the Optio WS80 able to produce brilliant, high-resolution prints that have edge-to-edge crisp and clear color even when enlarged. The slim, palm sized camera features an optical 5x zoom lens covering focal lengths from 35mm to 175mm in the 35mm format.The camera also has Intelligent Zoom that actually extends the zoom range up to 28.5x(approximately) for a better picture when zoomed in close.

The Optio WS80 is able to capture wonderful, flawless HD movie clips at 16:9 aspect ratio (1280 x 720 pixels) at a frame rate of 30 frames per second. The camera also has a user-friendly features designed to facilitate movie recording: the Movie SR (Shake Reducction) mode, which automatically compensates for camera shake during movie shooting. It even has an underwater Movie mode which automatically optimizes color settings for underwater movie shooting.
