Geeks do not care if the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Arizona Cardinals will win the Super Bowl 43. Much more important is of course which Super Bowl 2009 Ad will be the top rated Super Bowl commercial? Online sportsbook BetOnline just sent us over the odds for 13 advertisers to be ranked #1 in the USA Today Meter.
Anheuser-Busch is the favorite at 4 to 1 followed by the 3D ad of Monsters vs. Aliens at 6 to 1.
The list actually misses the ultra funny SoBe 3D Super Bowl 2009 Commercial, which I think has the potential to be the top ranked Super Bowl 2009 Ad.
See the list of selected Super Bowl 2009 advertisers and their odds below. Odds provided by the oddsmakers at BetOnline.
ANHEUSER-BUSCH 4/1
MONSTERS VS ALIENS MOVIE (3D AD) 6/1
COCA-COLA 8/1

HYUNDAI 8/1
BRIDGESTONE TIRES 8/1
CASTROL MOTOR OIL 12/1
TELEFLORA 7/1
E*TRADE 10/1

Super Bowl 2009 will be happening on Sunday February 1st. This Super Bowl is a treat for geeks that is why we will cover it even more than in 2008. Despite the recession a 30 second of a Super Bowl Ad cost about $3m and there should be again lots of must see Commercials. There will be for instance the first 3D Super Bowl Ads and lots of Super Bowl Ads featuring new 2009 Sci-fi Movies including the new Star Trek and the next Transformers movie. Do not forget to get your 3D Glasses for hot Super Bowl 3D Ads.
