There is a new line of cameras emerging that are being called ‘Four Proof’ digital cameras. They are waterproof, freeze proof, shockproof and dustproof. The Fujifilm FinePix XP10 is one of those cameras. You can drop it, soak it, freeze it, and even cover it in dirt, and this camera will come out unscathed. It is waterproof up to ten feet can be dropped from up to three feet, freeze proof up to 14 degrees F and dust proof so sand is no problem for this rugged camera. It is as strong as it is to look at coming in a vibrant green or black the camera is housed in a metal uni-body chassis with a tactile grip finish.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP10 offers features such as a new Facebook/YouTube Automatic Web Upload function that makes it much faster to post photos on social networking sites. While in playback mode, this feature allows you to ‘mark’ a picture for Facebook or You Tube uploaded. Then you can hook it up to your computer and upload the ‘marked’ images and video straight to the site you desire.

The Finpix XP10 also offers breathtaking movies in 720p with sound and high quality stills with one touch ease. The camera also offers target focus it is designed to capture action shots by tracking fast moving subjects so they don’t escape from the frame in a blur. Some additional features are movie editing mode, and blog mode. Scene recognition Auto this mode intelligently identifies the scene type and necessary shooting conditions to optimize picture perfect potential.
