iPhone2,1 Find points to major iPhone Upgrade

MacRumors put their nose into Apple's iPhone 2.x Firmware and found a new evidence of a next generation iPhone with model number iPhone2,1. The current iPhone 3G is labeled internally as iPhone1,2, while the original iPhone started with iPhone1,1.

Apple has been quite active in the CPU (Multi-Core CPU iPhone Rumor) and GPU area and a new iPhone might have stupendous performance.
