Many of today's smartphones offer good gaming experiences for users, which is helping the mobile gaming industry grow according to comScore. The analytics firm says that its latest numbers show that the mobile gaming audience grew 17% from November 2007 to November 2008.
In November 2008, 8.5 million people or 3.8% of mobile subscribers downloaded a game to their mobile phone. The most popular gaming platforms according to the metrics are the iPhone and Blackberry Curve.
