Bridgestone is a big spender at the Super Bowl XLIII tomorrow as they sponsor the Super Bowl Half Time show starring the Boss and running two great ads.
In the Bridgestone Taters Super Bowl 2009 Ad Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, make their Super Bowl debut. The classic Hasbro toy characters take a ride in their convertible on a picturesque mountain road. Suddenly, Sheeeeep! See the drama unfold for the Taters between the first and second quarters of the game.
The second Bridgestone Super Bowl Ad is titled Hot Item and caters to sci-fi fans with high tech space appeal. Bridgestone Hot Item takes you to Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. Two music-lovin’ space travelers cruise Titan in the ultimate space vehicle equipped with high-performance, intergalactically envied Bridgestone tires. Hot Item will air in the third quarter.
You can watch a teaser of the Bridgestone Super Bowl 2009 commercials below.
Super Bowl 2009 will be happening on Sunday February 1st. This Super Bowl is a treat for geeks that is why we will cover it even more than in 2008. Despite the recession a 30 second of a Super Bowl Ad cost about $3m and there should be again lots of must see Commercials. There will be for instance the first 3D Super Bowl Ads and lots of Super Bowl Ads featuring new 2009 Sci-fi Movies including the new Star Trek and the next Transformers movie. Do not forget to get your 3D Glasses for hot Super Bowl 3D Ads.
