The Go Daddy Super Bowl 2009 Ads were fun, but not over the top and also not that sexy. Still GoDaddy reports that they reached another online order record. Total orders to Go Daddy were up over last year’s Super Bowl record, coming in at 110% of the 2008 results. Update: TiVo Super Bowl 2009 Statistics ranks GoDaddy Enhanced Ad as Number One.
Last year GoDaddy released the number of hits to their site. They got an impressive 2 million hits for the whole Sunday, because viewers wanted to see Danica Patrick’s Beaver.
I guess they did not break this record with their Super Bowl 2009 ads, but they did a better job converting the traffic into orders.
The Go Daddy Super Bowl Ads are no favorites with critics, like every year. CEO of GoDaddy says to that topic: "This Super Bowl ad campaign turned out to be right on the money for us; in fact, I’d say it’s our best work. Not only did customers say they liked the ads, more importantly, many voted with their wallets when they signed up as new customers or placed new orders." Via the GoDaddy site.
