Ludlum Entertainment Grants EA Exclusive Rights to Works of Robert Ludlum

Certainly, the most famous of all characters created by Robert Ludlum is Jason Bourne. EA has been granted exclusive rights to publish video games based on the Ludlum works including the Bourne series.

EA says that the first game based on the Jason Bourne series is in the works and is under development in Sweden with Starbreeze Studios. EA also says that recent deals have been made to turn Ludlum's books into movies at various studios. We can expect video games that tie in with the movies as well.

“The continued global popularity of Robert Ludlum’s works is a testament to the care he lavished on his characters and storylines,” said Jeffrey Weiner, chairman and CEO of Ludlum Entertainment and executor of the Ludlum estate. “Robert Ludlum made thrilling stories accessible and real. EA has brought that same level of realism to the gaming world. We are confident EA’s unparalleled production ability and marketing reach will establish the Jason Bourne Series in games as powerfully and successfully as it exists in books and film.”
