When the first feature film Transformers hit the big screen there was the obligatory video game tie in. I played the game and I can say that it just wasn't very good. Activision has announced another Transformers game called Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Naturally, the game is a tie in to the second feature film from the Transformers franchise that is set for release sometime this year. Players can play the game as either the Autobots or the Decepticons. The game also promises a wide range of Transformers to choose from.

Activision says that players will get to battle around the globe to save or destroy mankind. The game is under development for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PCs. Versions for the PS3 and the Wii are being developed. A release date is unknown, but it should come very close to the movie launch date.
