French company Parrot and star designer Philipp Starck partnered for a very stylish iPod and iPhone wireless Speaker dock that I would not toss out of my living room.
The Zikmu Parrot by Philipp Starck is a tall speaker sculpture that works as throne for your beloved Apple iPhone or iPod.
Besides playing music from docked iPods and iPhones the Zikmu also has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity to stream music from sources like PCs.Parrot used NXT speaker technology inside the Zikmu for 360 surround sound.
The Zikmu Parrot by Philipp Starck iPod speaker dock will ship in Spring and has supposedly a price-tag of $1,500.
