Nokia unveiled today at the MWC 2009 the E75 and E55 QWERTY messaging phones.
The Nokia E75 with its slide-out QWERTY keyboard was already leaked a couple of days ago.
The Nokia E75 and Nokia E55 are the first phones to ship with the new email user interface from Nokia that wants to compete with the BlackBerry email solution.The enhanced email UI includes folder and HTML email support, expandable views and sorting capability by date, sender and size, as well as the most commonly used email functions just a single click away. On top of email, the devices also offer improved calendar capability, as well as contacts and task management.
The Nokia E55 features a compact semi-QWERTY keyboard and a neat 28 day stand-by battery life.
The Nokia E75 is expected to ship in March at an estimated retail price of 375 EUR, before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia E55 is expected to ship in the second quarter at an estimated retail price of 265 EUR, before taxes and subsidies.
