Nokia unveiled the new Nokia 6710 Navigator GPS mobile phone and the Nokia 6720 classic at the MWC 2009.
The new Nokia 6710 Navigator features a slightly updated style and improved navigation software. Nokia Maps has been updated to include a number of new features such as high-resolution aerial images, 3D landmarks for over 200 cities, terrain maps, weather service, premium travel and events content and traffic and safety warnings.
The new Nokia 6710 Navigator now includes a compass, working in conjunction with the new features of Maps, the pedestrian navigation experience has been significantly improved.
Nokia gave the 6710 Navigator a decent camera with 5 megapixel, Carl Zeiss optics, and dual LED flash.
The Nokia 6720 classic features active noise cancellation, 5MP camera, GPS, Compass and up to 20 days of standby time.
The Nokia 6720 classic is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2009 at an estimated retail price of 245 EUR (~$312) before taxes and subsidies.
The Nokia 6710 Navigator will join in the third quarter with an estimated retail price of 300 EUR (~$382), before taxes and subsidies.
