Today HTC unveiled the hot HTC Touch Pro2 and the HTC Touch Diamond2 smartphones at the MWC 2009.
These new HTC Windows phones will ship initially with Windows Mobile 6.1 in Summer and Q2 respectively. Microsoft stated in their Windows Mobile 6.5 announcement that the Diamond2 and the Pro2 will be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5.
This is great news for those who want a Pro2 or Diamond2 as soon as they ship. Both new HTC phones are a great improvement over the currently available versions and feature the new Straight Talk technology, an integrated e-mail, voice and speakerphone experience.
