Back in January LG introduced its Touch Watch Phone. Orange has announced that it will be the first mobile provider to offer the Touch Watch to its customers in Europe. The watch is a wearable phone and looks just like a normal watch.

The device offers a touch screen and features video calling capability and 3G HSDPA connectivity. Other features include a built-in MP3 player and multimedia capabilities. Orange says that its customers will be able to get the same 3G multimedia experience that users of other Orange handsets can get.

Exact pricing and availability are unknown at this time. It's cool to see the Dick Tracy style gadgets finally coming to market. Maybe in ten years we will be getting our Inspector Gadget legs. Mr. Harrison Lee, Senior Vice President & Head of European Mobile Business, LG Electronics says, "Orange's long heritage in mobile innovation and its proven success at bringing such technologies to its customers means it is an ideal partner to bring the world's first Touch Watch Phone to Europe."
