The Canon name may be more closely associated with digital cameras, but the firm makes a full line of printers for photo enthusiasts as well. Canon has announced its latest photo printer called the Selphy CP780. The compact printer is available in silver, pink, and blue colors and the colors match the new Canon Powershot SD1200 cameras introduced at the same time.

The little printer produces 4x6 color images in about 47 seconds and can print directly from the camera or from files stored on your computer.

Features include Portrait Image Optimize and Face Detection to prioritize correct skin tones in an image being printed. A 2.5-inch LCD on the printer allows you to see the image for printing and navigating through different files on the camera or computer. Options for the printer include a battery pack and a Bluetooth adapter. The battery pack is $79.99, the Bluetooth adapter retails for $49.99 and the printer itself sells for $99.
