Canon has announced a new waterproof case for its VIXIA HF20 and HF200 flash based camcorders. The case allows users to dive while recording video at depths of up to 130 feet. Both of the camcorders that the case houses record in HD format to flash memory.
If scuba diving is a bit more extreme than you want to go, the case will also protect your camcorder from water at the beach and at the poolside. The bad thing about the case is that it is expensive with a MSRP of $599 with availability set for May.
