Dell says that the machine is available for advanced orders on QVC now and will be available to order on the Dell.com website on February 26th. The machine weighs 2.86 pounds and has a large 92% size keyboard. The track pad uses multi-touch and recognizes gestures making navigation easier.
The screen is a 10.1-inch WSVGA edge-to-edge unit and the system features HDMI out. Wi-Fi is integrated and the machine has a built-in webcam. The operating system is Windows XP and standard storage is a 160GB HDD with 1GB of RAM. The QVC edition has free shipping and ships with a 4GB SD card. Dell says that later this year new options and features will be added including WWAN, Bluetooth, GPS, 2GB of RAM, 250GB of storage SSDs, Ubuntu, and Linux operating systems.
