I am a big fan of backlit keyboards and I am glad to see OCZ offer one up in its low-cost Alchemy line. Backlighting is great for working and gaming in dark rooms like LAN parties and playing at night. The keyboard has 14 multimedia keys and offers Internet hotkeys as well.
The keyboard measures 215mm W x 495mm L x 30mm H and weighs 850g. Key travel distance is 2.5 mm with about 0.5 mm of variance. Lifespan for the keys is 5 million cycles. Pricing for the keyboard is unknown, but the alchemy models have been under $30 so far and I would expect the same here.
