The functionality of the player is customizable and it can be combined with other applications from providers. The iPhone version of the player is reportedly optimized for the hardware capabilities of the iPhone.
Nextreaming says that the player is now available on more than 120 handsets worldwide and claims that NexPlayer is the most popular media player with many network operators around the world.
