Nokia announced today that their first touchscreen phone is now also shipping in the United States.
Nokia made the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic available in some other markets last November.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic supports Nokia's Comes With Music service that gives users one year of unlimited access to the entire Nokia Music Store catalogue. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 640x360px resolution and introduces the new Nokia Bar user interface concept.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, GPS, S60 OS, speaker and 3.5mm jack. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is rather thick.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be available for approximately $399 before taxes and subsidies in the U.S. through Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, nokiausa.com and independent retailers and e-tailers.
For a limited time, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will also come with a $50 voucher for Amazon Video on Demand which allows you to download thousands of movies or TV titles as well as one month of free turn-by-turn voice guided navigation through Ovi Maps.
