The Expander also allows Pace set-top boxes that lack a hard drive to be used like a full featured DVR. Iomega says that Pace is the latest manufacturer to certify compatibility with its storage device. When installed the Pace box will stream either to the Iomega drive or the internal HDD depending on which has more space.
All needed accessories for installing and connecting the drive are included with the drive for $149.99. The drive itself has 500GB of storage. I wish an easy to use DVR expander like this would be offered for DirecTV.
