Over the weekend we covered rumors that pointed towards Apple releasing new desktop hardware in March. The rumored next Apple Media event is March 24th. Now new Apple inventory numbers have been discovered and Apple Insider implies that new iMac and new Mac minis could be unveiled as early as today, Tuesday 3rd.
The new iMacs MB417, MB418, MB419, and MB420 would feature the new NVIDIA chipset and the Mini DisplayPort connector already introduced on the new MacBook and MacBook Pro.
The new Mac mini computers would have the model numbers MB463 and MB464.

If indeed the new Apple hardware is coming today than the Apple Store will go down soon.
Additionally CeBIT 2009 which starts today would lose quite a bit of attention in the technology news universe as every site would be jumping all over the new Apple product announcements, including us.
