Sony reports that it has now sold two million PS3 consoles and three million PSP portable systems in the UK. The PS3 is expensive for sure, but you can use it for watching Blu-ray films, which adds value to the console that the Xbox can’t match.
Sony also says that the Killzone 2 game has helped to move hardware and hinted that more games in the franchise will be coming in the future.
A Sony spokesman said, "It certainly has helped drive hardware. I think there were a lot of people out there who wanted something which really showed the power of PlayStation 3 - and now they can see it's a reason for them to get on board... This is a series with a lot more stories to tell."
