The handset runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and connects to the Alltel EV-DO Rev A network. Palm says that the Treo Pro is the first handset it offers to run Internet Explorer Mobile 6 and to have the ability to be optimized for mobile or desktop-like browsing.
Alltel is selling the Treo Pro at a full retail price of $519.99 online with a $195 instant online discount and a mail-in rebate of $125 making the total price for the smartphone $199.99. It would be safe to assume that in store prices are about the same.
