GameStop Announces Resident Evil 5 Events Nationwide

GameStop has announced Resident Evil 5 launch events will be held at locations around the nation. The events will kick off on March 12th at 10pm and run until midnight. Events will be held at 3,000 different GameStop locations.

Among the events planned for the launch are a Dress Up Dead costume contest and the chance to play the game before the launch at midnight on Friday. This is the first event of this type for GameStop and is being called March of the Dead.

A special event in San Francisco is being held at Union Square where attendees can play the game and meet the development team. The new game puts players in Africa fighting a new biothreat that turns people into aggressive creatures.
