Samsung has unveiled the follow up to the popular U800 smartphone called the Lucido. The device is a quad-band phone with a 2.2-inch QVGA AMOLED screen, FM tuner built-in and an accelerometer. Other features of the handset include a 5MP camera with blur correction and smile detection. The name of the handset means "sleek" in Italian. Support for up to 8GB microSDHC cards is featured.
AGPS is built-in along with Google maps for navigation. Pricing and availability on the handset is unknown at this time. The phone looks slick but there will be lots of competition on the smartphone market this spring.
