Last week a photo of a Lenovo netbook in the shape of a Sony VAIO P mini notebook leaked. Today Electronista reports that Lenovo published several photos of this new Lenovo device dubbed Lenovo Pocket Yoga.
The photos show that the Lenovo Pocket Yoga can be used notebook style but also as a tablet. The leather wrapped netbook is closed with a belt that also can be used as a mouse. Huh? At this point the warning bells ring. The Pocket Yoga shown in the photos is just a design concept.
On this Lenovo Blog Johnson Li, Director of Lenovo’s Beijing Innovation Center explains that the Pocket Yoga is a 2 year old design made way before the netbook hype. Somebody snuck out a photo last week from the center prompting him to speak out about it.
This means the Lenovo Pocket Yoga is not a VAIO Clone and is also nowhere near production. So move on people nothing to see here besides a cool design concept.
