Facebook reaches out to the iPhone by expanding their FaceBook Connect web platform to iPhone Apps. You can now access your FaceBook contacts through iPhone Apps supporting FaceBook Connect.
See a video below that shows FaceBook Connect on the iPhone inside the "Who Has the Biggest Brain" game by Playfish.
This looks pretty neat and I wonder what Apple is doing from their side to support and integrate people's social networks on the iPhone OS. Maybe we will see it tomorrow when Apple is unveiling the iPhone 3.0 firmware.
FaceBook has worked with iPhone App developers to make sure that there are already Facebook enabled apps available for you to try. You can use your Facebook account to find places to meet your friends using maps on Whrrl or challenge your friends to play Agency Wars, Binary Game, iBowl, Live Poker, and Tap Tap Revenge 2.
In the coming days, many more Facebook enabled applications will be available in Apple's App Store. Via the Facebook site.
