According to SmartHouse is has spoken to sources that claim Apple already has a working prototype of its new netbook that will be made in Taiwan with LG OLED screens. The same sources claim that LG received over $500 million from Apple to work on new technology for displays and monitors.
The OLED notebook is said to be incorporating touch technology. Part of the research is claimed to be into ways to prevent fingerprints on touchscreen devices. LG is said to believe an additive in the manufacturing process could prevent fingerprints from being left behind.
