Dell officially launched their new premium notebook line Adamo this week. The starting price for a Dell Adamo notebook is $1,999. Sounds high, but that price already includes a 128GB SSD.
Engadget has published an unboxing video of the Dell Adamo and some hands-on.
If you ask me Dell should just switch all their notebooks to the Adamo design language. I like it a lot, but it is not stunning or luxurious. The design would just be great on the average Dell notebook.
The hype of the Dell Adamo is nowhere close to the hype that has been happening around the Macbook Air launch. Not sure how many buyers will actually go for the Adamo in this economy. If it fails then Dell can, as I mentioned above, just take the design and apply it to their Inspiron, Studio, and XPS laptops.
The Dell Adamo notebooks are on sale on on the Dell site.
