The gang over at Laptop Magazine got its hands on the Samsung N110 netbook for testing. The machine has a 10-inch screen and promises up to 7 hours of battery life per charge. Other specs include a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP Home, and a 160GB HDD. The MSRP for the system is $469.

Laptop says the keyboard is large and spacious with 93% full size keys and a comfortable layout. The keyboard has good tactile feel and the right shift key is where it should be unlike some of Asus' offerings.

The track pad on the N110 was enlarged compared to the NC10 from Samsung making it more usable says Laptop. The track pad also offers a scrolling section, something missing on many netbooks. The final verdict from Laptop is that the N110 is near-perfect for a netbook and has a battery life of 8 hours making it the machine to beat in the segment.
