GammaTech has announced a new tablet computer that is aimed at healthcare pros called the Durabook RT10. The tablet PC is fully rugged and features Intel health technology. The machine is capable of withstanding drops from up to four feet and can run at humidity levels as high as 90% and as low as 10%.

The machine is fully sealed and resistant to alcohol diluted to 80% or less, disinfectants, bleach, iodine, and other cleaners so it can be sanitized. The machine is designed to help clinicians streamline workflow and efficient.

The battery in the machine is good for up to five hours per charge and a 2MP webcam and mic are built-in. The battery is hot swappable for continuous runtime. An optional integrated RFID reader is available as well. The machine measures 270mm x 256mm x 35.3mm and weighs 3.3 pounds.
