Apple closer to iPhone Launch in China?

Buy iPhone from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Apple has, for a very long time, been negotiating with Chinese carriers to bring the iPhone to China. Now the iPhone appears on a regional site of China Unicom reports Apple Insider.
This is a pretty good sign that the iPhone is about to launch in China.
Apparently China Unicom managers were in Cupertino just last week.
China is this fabled market that is supposed to make gigantic revenues for companies. The only question is how many want an iPhone and can also afford it in China today.
