Activision says that users of the virtual backstage area can talk about the game, meet new friends, and maybe even find new bands to challenge. The virtual space offers the backstage area and a huge concert venue.
Activision says that the space will evolve and add functionality over time. Videos and other information about coming versions of the game will also be offered in the area. PS3 users who want to visit the backstage area will need to download PlayStation Home.
