The Eee PC 1004DN is the first in the Eee PC range to feature a Super-Multi optical disc drive, enabling you to read and write optical discs for convenient data back-ups. The Super-Multi optical disc drive (ODD) reads and writes data to DVD or CD media.
An Express Card expansion slot provides compatibility with USB 2.0 and PCI Express, providing thinner, faster, and lighter modular expansion options to users. The 1004DN features the ASUS Data Security System (ADSM) which allows users to log-on using their fingerprints.
Other features of the Asus Eee 1004DN include 10 inch LED backlit screen with WSVGA resolution, Atom N280 at 1.66Ghz CPU, 120GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and 1.3MP camera.
Measurements of the 1004DN are 277mm x 194mm x 27.4-34mm and the weight is 1.45kg.
