TomTom has announced that the Go 740 Live GPS device is now available in the US. The GPS device offers a host of Live services and features at an MSRP of $399.95. The 740 Live supports TomTom's exclusive IQ Routes Technology that takes historical speed data and picks the best route for the driver based on when the user is driving to the destination.

Other features include wireless real-time traffic feeds with three months of service included with the device. Local search is available and powered by Google allowing drivers to find businesses and then get directions.

TomTom fuel price service allows you to find the lowest cost gas in your area and then routes you to the station and the device provides local weather forecasts for the next five days. The 740 Live also features TomTom QuickGPSfix to get you going faster. Drivers can also adjust device settings with voice control. The TomTom 740 Live will be available in mid-April.
