Pentax has announced that it will be offering instant rebates on some of its cameras that will be effective from April 3rd to April 11th. The instant rebates will range from $20 to $50 depending on the camera model. Discounts are being offered on DSLR and point-and-shoot cameras.

Among the products being discounted is the Optio E70, which gets a $20 discount bringing its price to $119.95 after rebate. The Optio P70 also gets a $20 discount while the Optio W60 gets a $50 discount bringing the prices to $179.95 and $249.95 respectively.

The sole DSLR to be included in the instant rebate offerings is the Pentax K2000 in kit form with a DA L 18-55mm lens and an AF200FG flash. The normal MSRP for the K2000 kit is $599.95 bringing the discounted price to $549.95.
