Even with the tough economy 16% said they would pay for content that was free of ads. A happy medium would satisfy both I think if the ads were not bothersome and the content was good enough.
Almost a fourth of those surveyed said that they would watch video ads to get free IM access. I thought IM access was already free. I don’t think that many people would be willing to pay for ad free content; it's too easy to get free content online to justify paying.
