Development costs between the four channels that participated are thought to be in the realm of £20 million, but Orange would likely only need to pony up a small fraction of that amount if it buys.
The service has about a million subscribers at this point so it could prove to be a good investment. Whether or not the deal will be completed remains to be seen, Orange has made no announcements. Techwatch reports that ITV is in talks to get Hulu to bring Kangaroo back.
