Buy Apple Xserve from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

As reported earlier today the Apple Store went down for maintenance. It came back with two new shiny pizza boxes: the Quad-Core Xserve and 8-Core Xserve.
The new Apple servers feature the new Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processors. For $2,999 you get an Xserve with Quad-Core CPU at 2.26Ghz, 3GB RAM, 160GB SATA drive and Mac OS X Server v10.5 Unlimited-Client Edition.
The 8-Core Xserve starts at $3,599.
Apple lets you go nuts with the Xserve and offers to configure it with two quad-core processors at up to 2.93GHz, up to 24GB RAM, Hard drive storage up to 3TB, 128GB solid-state drive, Internal hardware RAID card, Dual-channel Gigabit Ethernet, Dual- or quad-channel 4Gb Fiber Channel card and Dual redundant power supplies. Just do not ask what such a tricked out Xserve is going to cost.
