Landing a manufacturing deal with Apple is a nice thing for companies, but they rarely get to talk about it. Digitimes has unearthed via industry sources apparently some more companies involved in making the new iPhone 2009 aka "iPhone 3.0" aka the "new best iPhone".
Apparently TSMC got some foundry orders for the GSM EDGE power amplifies, Bluetooth ICs and the 3.2MP OmniVision CMOS camera.
Digitimes has put together a nice little table listing the main components of the new iPhone 2009 and who they believe is making them.
All rumors still are pointing towards a June release for the new iPhone 2009.
