Android Cupcake 1.5 update will soon be available and will give users the ability to shoot video, cut and paste in browsers and create live folders.

This is a much needed update for the Android users and will bring some exciting new features.New features include support for home screen widgets, live folders, cut & paste within the web browser and the biggest one - the ability to shoot video, something the current iphone software doesn't even allow for. Also mentioned in the update is support for Squirrelfish JavaScript, which makes web browsing a lot easier.

With the update imminent for the G1 it is expected that the ability to shoot video will be offered from the start on the HTC Magic, which is the next Android based handset to hit the UK. With rumours of other android handsets soon to appear on the market it all looks promising for Android users.
