MasterCard Launches ATM Hunter App for iPhone

We have all been traveling or in an unfamiliar part of the city we live in with and needed to find an ATM. The problem is that ATMs can be very hard to find in some areas. MasterCard has released a new app for the iPhone called ATM Hunter that will make that problem a non-issue.

The app is available for the iPhone and the iPod touch and allows users to locate the nearest ATM no matter where they are in the world. The application uses the location aware nature of the Apple device to find the closest ATM to your location.

The app lets users customize the search to their needs as well like searching for specific bank ATMs to avoid cash withdrawal fees. The application will also find drive-through ATMs or 24-hour access ATMs and give directions to get there. You don’t even need a MasterCard to use the application.
