Despite various rumours floating around the internet, Netflix's movie streaming service will remain exclusive to the xbox 360.

However the vice president of corporate communications at Netflix, Steve Swasey in a recent interview used the phrase 'for now' when referring to the exclusive deal Netflix has with the Microsoft Xbox 360 remaining that way.A recent job posting for an 'engineering leader - gaming platforms' by Netflix has seen speculation grow that the position is for someone that can use their skills to transfer the technology over to other gaming platforms such as the Wii and Sony PS3, which would seem a reasonable 'rumor' as surely the company would like to see their movie streaming service grow.

And by the job description for the post it would seem likely that we will see the service on other platforms in the near future. Since it's launch in November last year, around one million Xbox 360 users have used Netflix and have watched in excess of over 1.5 billion minutes of video content.
