Today T-Mobile unveiled a new Sidekick LX featuring 3G connectivity.
The new Sidekick LX 2009 also provides improved video capabilities as well as GPS-enabled Live Search.
Other features of the new Sidekick LX include a 3.2 inch TFT display with 854x480px resolution, 3.2MP camera, 5.5 hours talk-time, and 8 days standby.
The new Sidekick LX 2009 is the thinnest Sidekick yet measuring 5.20 x 2.40 x 0.64 inches. T-Mobile will offer the new Sidekick LX in two new colors: orchid and carbon.
Existing T-Mobile customers can pre-order the new Sidekick LX starting today via a Web-only pre-sale on the Sidekick site. Customers eligible for upgrade will be able to purchase the new Sidekick LX for $199.99 after mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement.
For those ineligible for upgrade, the cost will be $419.99 with a two-year service agreement or $449.99 without a contract extension.
