Nintendo DSi sold 435,000 in the United States in first Week

The new Nintendo DSi console launched on April 5th. Nintendo says that in the first week the company sold 435,000 DSi consoles.
When Nintendo introduced the DS Lite it only sold about half that number in the first week.

The new Nintendo DSi features 2 cameras and a larger screen. Nintendo offers new games taking advantage of these new hardware features.
As reported Nintendo again dominates video game sales in the United States in March accounting for 58.4% of the video game hardware sold.
The Nintendo DSi sells for $169.99 on Amazon.com.
