The Samsung Instinct s30 is now on sale at Sprint. Sprint unveiled the Instinct s30 on April 1st. The Instinct s30 is no April Fools' joke though. In the following we take a closer look at this affordable touchscreen mobile phone (only $29.99 on LetsTalk with new service plan).
The Samsung Instinct s30 comes with advanced responsive touchscreen, high-Speed Wireless Connectivity, virtual QWERTY Keyboard, Live TV, Stereo Bluetooth Wireless Technology, full HTML Browser, 2.0 MP Camera and Camcorder, GPS Navigation and an array of multimedia functionality.
The Samsung Instinct s30 comes with a virtual QWERTY Keyboard, which can be accessed in landscape or portrait mode and you can easily switch between the two with ease.
Samsung Instinct s30 also offers GPS and Live Search capabilities. With the built-in GPS functionality, you can find your way to a specific address or locate the nearest pizza joint. With Live Search, you can look for a specific destination or even search by category.
The 2.0 megapixel camera comes along with the camcorder which has the ability to record for up to 6 minutes. You can take and share pictures and videos any time and view images and videos in thumbnail mode or scroll through larger previews with filmstrip mode.
The device comes with an array of multimedia functionality. You can listen to music while you text, pause your tunes when a call comes through and a host of other user friendly features. The device comes with Sprint Power Vision Services and you can watch live TV on-the-go, easily download music, check email accounts and more. It can store only Polyphonic ringtones and not MP3 ringtones and has the capacity to store up to 72 Polyphonic ringtones. Samsung Instinct s30 lets you take your multimedia experience to a whole new level of excitement.
The Samsung Instinct s30 is a slim, sleek, stylish touch screen device measuring 4.57" x 2.17" x .48"(HxWxD) and weighing around 4.4oz. The Lithium ion battery provides up to 5.75 hours of talk time. It features a 2GB microSD card for internal memory storage and can have up to 600 entries w/ 7 contacts stored. It also features an External Memory, with the built-in microSD memory card slot, of 8GB.
The other miscellaneous features of Samsung Instinct s30 include document viewer, file explorer, voice memo and voice mail messaging features for corporate users, predictive Text Input T9 (handwritten recognition feature), Email, Instant Messaging, Outlook Sync and PC Sync Application, speaker phone and personal information management features such as Calendar and Worldtime.
