UFC 2009 Undisputed Demo Now Available

THQ has announced that the playable demo for the anticipated UFC 2009 Undisputed fighting game is now available for the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3. The demo allows players to hold an exhibition match between Chuck Liddell and Mauricio Rua.

The demo also has a portion of the full games demo mode that teaches players how the controls work. The full game is set for release on May 19th for the Xbox and the PS3. I wonder if Chuck has to get knocked out cold in the demo like he did in the real fight.

“The playable demo for UFC 2009 Undisputed will allow consumers to have their first taste of virtual Octagon™ action prior to our highly anticipated launch on May 19th,” said Scott Guthrie, executive vice president, publishing, THQ. “We look forward to seeing how fans embrace this powerful mixed martial arts game play experience.”
