Apple will try to integrate YouTube into it's products by adding support for the site into it's Quicktime X player according to an AppleInsider report out today.
The application will allow users to take any supported video file and upload it directly to the YouTube site. All you do is type in your username and password and Quicktime X player will do the rest. This includes converting the movie into a file optimized for video sharing service. Already we have seen that screen recording will be available in the upcoming version and now people using the beta X player have seen the video sharing options that will be incorporated. Apple will also offer a similar option for it's MobileMe subscribers that will upload the video files to the MobileMe Gallery. Both options are reportedly accessibile via a new "share" menu in the QuickTime X player interface.
