Amazon buys ebook Reader Stanza

The app offers iphone and ipod touch users the ability to browse, purchase and download ebooks directly to their device at any time from a selection of over 100,000 ebooks.Amazon already has the "Kindle" ebook reader, one of the most popular on the market, so the reasons behind this purchase are not yet clear, apart from maybe broadening it's technological offerings. Lexcycle have announced on their website that they are excited by the takeover and could not think of a better company to join during this exciting time.
